You can now send Scott a short ‘video clip’ of your swing for him to evaluate and provide you with an accurate game-improvement plan for the future. Front and back angles are welcome.

Even if you are not video camera/computer savy, you can create a short video clip quite easily with a basic digital camera using the video mode. You can have a friend video you or you can video yourself at the range, with the help of a tripod ($60 Canadian).

The main thing to consider when shooting video to be emailed is to keep the ‘file sizes’ as small as possible to ensure they make it to their destination. The maximum video file that will travel through a cable connection is about 8 megs (8,000 kb). When at the driving range, a good idea is to get someone to press your shutter button on, then off, after you swing which will keep the file size under 2-3 megs. A swing only takes about 4-5 seconds. Another option to keeping the video files as small as possible is to use the ‘trimming option’ that every digital camera has.

Once you have shot your video from both the front and back angles to your digital camera it will easily load into your computer and be ready for email sending. I suggest you send me an email with your video files first, to make sure I can open the files. If I can and you want me to proceed with my On-line video analysis, I will send you an email back telling you to go ahead with the Paypal payment. Once the payment has been received, my detailed evaluation (including helpful instructional pictures) will be sent to you within a couple of days.
